I completed my undergrad at Michigan State University and am finishing my masters at MSU as well. My bachelor's degree is in education with a focus in integrated science. My master's is in educational technology. I am passionate about MSU and grateful for my experiences in the college of education.

I am currently teaching eighth grade science at Wyandot Middle School in Clinton Township, Michigan. This is my first year at Wyandot and I am loving every minute! Prior to my current teaching position, I taught seventh and eighth grade science at University Preparatory Academy in Detroit, Michigan. I gained a tremendous amount of experience at UPA and found great joy in teaching in the urban setting. 

In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family. You can often find us in East Lansing supporting our Spartans or up north at the beach swimming with my pup, Kedzie. My traveling ways are not just limited to Michigan. I have enjoyed cruising the Caribbean and trips to Europe. Just last year I took a small group of my students to Italy! This is something I hope to continue through the years.
